SHS Band & Choir Trip

Branson, MO

Dear Parents/Guardians,

After all of our planning, selling, and fundraising the time has finally come for our music trip to Branson, MO! We will be leaving on Wednesday, March 18th and returning on Saturday, March 21st.  The total cost for the trip will be $350 per student. Our final payment for the trip is due on March 1st  requiring all students to have this amount in their accounts. Students also have to be academically eligible to participate in this trip---this trip is not graded nor is it a requirement therefore it should be looked at as a privilege that could be taken away if their grades are not high enough to be eligible.

Please take the time to read through all forms (below) thoroughly so that we can take care of your child in case of an emergency, and/or if your child has any special health concerns. I’m really looking forward to traveling with this group of students, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to call the school or email me.

Parent/Guardian permission and agreement form has to be filled out and returned by March 1st.

Medical/Emergency information form has to be filled out and returned before we leave on March 18th.

On the itinerary, you will find the name, address, and phone number of the hotel we are staying at should you need to contact us in the event of an emergency.  You will also find websites for most of the events and attractions we will be attending. This will give you an idea of what your child will be doing at any given time.

Your son or daughter will be expected to follow rules and guidelines at all times during the trip. I often remind them that their behavior reflects on their school, family, and community they are representing.
