Hello Juniors, Seniors, and Parents,
Sterling’s Junior/Senior Prom is April 11th —how exciting!
The dinner and dance will occur here in Sterling at the community building. Out-of-school date forms are at the school. The cost for prom this year will be $10 for all who are attending. Please be sure to bring the money to Mrs. Matkins in the library before Wednesday, April 7th.
Post-Prom will be at Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Omaha. The schedule for Prom and Post-Prom is as follows:
5:45 pm: Line up in vehicles by the school for the prom parade
6:30 pm: Class pictures
6:45 pm: Coronation
7:00 pm: Dinner begins
11:00 pm: Dance ends (Change for Sky Zone at Community Building)
11:30 pm: Charter bus arrives at Community Building
11:30 pm: Charter bus departs (No other transportation allowed to Sky Zone)
12:45 am: Charter bus arrives at Sky Zone Trampoline Park 4215 S 133rd St, Omaha, NE 68137
1:05 am - 3am: Students and dates enjoy post-prom activities and food at Sky Zone.
3:15 am: Group picture, load Charter Bus, and return to Sterling
5:00 am: Students return to Sterling; clear charter bus of personal items and trash; prizes raffled to students and dates; students dismissed
Things to know:
You are not allowed to leave prom or post prom at any point. Leaving prom early forfeits the ability to attend post prom.
This is a drug and alcohol free event for the entirety of the event.
Bring a change of clothes to prom- plan on changing at the community building.
Separate SkyZone Parent Permission is Required! All students going to post prom need to have an electronic waiver completed AND a screenshot texted to Jen Uher at 402-730-8401 by April 9, 2026.
