" Their size turned out to be just too much for us to handle. We hung around with them for about a quarter and a half, but once they got their ground attack going, they just wore us down as the game went along. We couldn't get anything going on offense and that led directly to our defense being out on the field way too long. Our kids never quit, they were just beat by a superior opponent."
"This turned out to be the final game in a Jet uniform for 6 seniors, Matt Erickson, Archie Keebler, Levi McCartney, Billy Richardson, Lukas Theisen, and Colin VanGroningen. These 6 were key contributors for usthroughout their careers and will be sorely missed next season. Hopefully our underclassmen learned a lot from these guys and will be able to put it to good use next season. We have a solid nucleus coming back and we will work hard in the off season with the goal being to advance further in the playoffs next year."
Sterling finishes it season with a 5-4 record.
