" What can you say, Borcher had a heck of a night. It seemed like anything we tried was unsuccessful in stopping him. He is a horse to bring down, and some of our younger kids found that out the hard way. We had some missed assignments that aided his cause, but for the most part we just didn't have any answers to slowing him down."
" Our offense did some nice things, we went toe to toe with them in the first quarter. But they eventually wore us down and in the 2nd half and we ran out of gas. We need to learn how to play a full 4 quarters, and until we do, we are going to come out on the short end of these tough contests. Chalk this one up as a learning experience. We will take what we learned from this game and continue working hard in practice as we move into the 2nd half of our season."
Sterling's next game is Friday, Sept 30th vs. Concordia at home. Game time is set for 7:00 pm.
