" We put together a complete game in all 3 phases this week. Our defense held them to 19 yards in total offense, which was a marked improvement from last week. Offensively, we were able to control the line of scrimmage, which allowed us to gain some big yardage on the ground. They(Lawrence-Nelson) are in a rebuilding year, but our kids came out ready to play and never gave them a chance to get into the game. We expect this kind of effort each and every week. Hopefully we can keep up this level of play as we head into our game next week with Meridian."
Sterling's next contest is scheduled for Friday, September 16th vs. the Meridian Mustangs in Daykin, NE. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm.
