Sterling Students Selected for Nebraska Class D All-State Band

Seven Sterling students have been selected to participate in the Nebraska Class D All-State Band. The event will be held on March 20 in Kearney, NE. The students will rehearse throughout the day and perform a concert that evening. Friends and family are invited to attend the concert. It is always a great show, and it is amazing to see our students making such beautiful music.
A few months ago, each student made an audition tape. The tapes were judged against all the other auditions submitted from over 40 schools across the state. Only 150 students are selected to participate out of the 300+ students who auditioned. This is an outstanding honor for our music students. They will be playing with a talented group of musicians and learning from outstanding conductors. GO JETS!!
