" We had a nice night on the offensive side of the football. Jake Wirthele just keeps getting better and better with the ball in his hands. Our offensive line is starting to jell together as well. When they work as a unit, we can be tough to stop."
"On the other side of the ball, we had a little trouble containing their spread offense at times. They do a nice job of getting the ball to their playmakers in space. We made some adjustments at halftime and that seemed to slow them down a little bit. But, we do need to keep improving on the defensive side of the ball if we want to become a complete football team. The bottom line is a win is a win and that's all your looking for this time of the season. We hope to keep this momentum going through the last half of our schedule."
Sterling's next contest is set for Friday, Oct. 2nd at Parkview Christian. Game time is at 4:00 pm. Note the start time.
