Commencement exercises were held Saturday, May 12, 2008, 4:00 p.m. at Sterling Public High School. Twenty students were present and honored with various scholarships and awards.
Jamie Erickson, valedictorian, and Kaylee Agena, salutatorian, each gave a speech followed by scholarship awards. The senior class sang "Good Riddance" by Green Day and accompanied on guitar by Maddie Daehling. A senior class video was viewed and followed by the closing prayer by McKenzi McAuliffe.
Junior Class Marshalls were Adriana Magill, Brandon Nieveen, Morgan Shea and Jake Saathoff.
Senior Class Motto: "We laughed until we had to cry, We loved right down to our last goodbye, but over the years we'll smile, and recall, just for one moment...we had it all."
Class Flower: Carnation
