Sterling 56
Lewiston 29
NEBRASKA CITY - Sterling’s Lady Jets outshot the Lewiston Lady Tigers in their 56-29 win Monday.
“Sterling’s shooting was too much for the Lady Tigers,” Lewiston coach Jay Knaak said. “We were close through the first half, but could not catch a break with loose balls or calls by the officials. All in all, the girls really worked hard in the game and just need to shoot the ball a little better.”
Sterling led by 19 points at halftime after outscoring Lewiston 15-9 in the first quarter and 16-3 in the second.  The Lady Jets went on to lead the scoring 13-9 in the third quarter and 12-8 in the fourth.
