…Ninety-eight, ninety-nine, one HUNDRED !!

The First Grade class celebrated the 100th day of school on January 21.  They designed their own autograph book and tried to get 100 signatures.

Each student had counted out 100 pieces of their favorite cereal and we started the day with a class breakfast.    We did several activities involving the number 100 throughout the day.  We created headbands to wear, read books about 100, created a picture using the number 100 and designed a name quilt using 100 squares.  We counted by 10’s to 100 using our class number strip and then graphed each month’s special shape and compared each month’s total days.

A snack which consisted of 10 different items in groups of 10 was enjoyed for our 100th day.  Thank you to all the parents that helped in providing treats for our special day.  The day was 100-derful !
