2007 Elementary Winter Music Program

The Sterling Winter Grade School Concert was held Sunday, December 16, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. The concert was a resounding success and attended by many. Each song had a soloist sing completely through the song at the beginning. They were then joined by all students grades K-5. Fifth grade accompanied the younger students: they played on xylophones, glockenspiels, metallophones, and contrabass bars. Frequently, their teacher, Mr. Raetz, would step away from the piano so only the 5th graders were accompanying the singers! They sounded impressive! Fourth graders also rocked the house on Jingle Bells.
Soloist were: Kari Hansen, Meribeth Heitbrink, Rebecca Elson, Ben Hier, Erica and Sydney Goracke, Logan Jasa, Rachel and Dorothy Frerichs-Shea, and Megan Barber.
