One-Act Play "Competition Piece"

Sterling High School students performed "Competition Piece" and won 4th place at the Pioneer Conference Play Competition held Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Stella, Nebraska. Schools participating in the event were Pawnee City, Johnson Brock, Nebraska City, SE Consolidated, Fall City Sacred Heart, Brownell-Talbott, Lewiston and Sterling. Awards for Outstanding Actress and Actor were also presented to Madeline Daehling, Kala Weber, Willow Hunt and Jake Saathoff. Don't miss the next performance to be held at the Sterling High School Gym, Monday, November 26, 2007, at 8:00 p.m. Dessert will be served after the production...we'll see you there!!
“COMPETITION PIECE”
Ever wanted to know what goes into doing a play for competition? In this comedic piece, three different groups of high school students take the audience through the entire process of creating a work of theatrical genius. The audience will be able to watch the students from the auditions and rehearsals, right on down to the performance. Who will win? To find out come watch the show!
