"We were able to move the ball like we wanted to on offense, but we
had some crucial penalties that stopped several of our drives. Our
defense did a nice job of shutting down their run game, although we
had some trouble containing their quarterback in the 2nd half.
Overall, our kids showed a lot of character in battling back from
the late deficit and made the key plays when we needed them.
Hopefully we can carry this momentum into our qualifying round game
next week."
Sterling's next game is Thursday, October 25th at Shickley. Game
time is set for 6:00 p.m.
