A highly contested game that I’m sure was fun to watch. I still felt we haven’t gotten back to the style of VB we were in toward the middle of the season. Our passing was better but not as good as it can be. Our serving percentage needs to be better but more importantly we need to get our serves to the right areas. Teams like JB are awfully good when they are allowed to get into their offense with good passing off serve receive. Also we hurt ourselves by making 23 attack errors as a team. Between attack errors, serving errors, and lack of communication we gave JB way to many points. JB is one of the most athletic teams in the conference and so you have to attack them on every occasion and score when opportunities present themselves.
With the conference tournament coming up at Sterling we’ll have a home court advantage. Now we just need to play strong as a team and take advantage of the situation. The home crowd should help a lot so it will be upon the girls to “get ‘r done!”
