"We were able to establish our ground game by rushing for 329 yards on the evening. When we are able to do that, we feel like we should be pretty successful. Our defense was able to limit big plays and came up with key stops when we needed them. Our special teams gave up several big returns, including a kick return for touchdown, which is something we need to work on and get fixed. Overall, this was a good win for us over a district opponent and keeps our goals for the season within our reach."

Sterling's next game is scheduled for Oct. 12th @ Southeast Consolidated. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
