5th Grade Field Trip

Living History Day, September 28, 2007

A good reason for someone to go to Living History Day is so you can learn about the old days.  Some of the presenters the 5th graders liked were, Polecat Annie and the Medicine Man.  They taught us games, tricks and magic that the older people and Native Americans did when they were young.  We learned about Jesse James and his life, which was also presented by Polecat Annie and the Medicine Man.

Another presenter was our very own, Mr. Salberg.  He was in the print shop.  He told us how they use to make newspapers and how much time and effort went into it.  We found the field trip very interesting and a great learning experience.  We wish we could go again next year.
