Comments;
In the first game we came sharp and really put it to EM. I felt we really took game one; they didn’t give it to us. It was a hard fought game and I was really proud of how our girls played. EM is a very tall and athletic team and our hitters just pounded at them and got the kills. A lot of this was possible because our good passing which lead to good setting by Kala Weber.
In the second our serve receive passing wasn’t as sharp and thus our offense suffered. EM setter/right side hitter Megan Bober has signed a letter of intent to play VB at Division I Creighton and there were times we just couldn’t stop her.
The third game we got down early and really never got into this one as our passing wasn’t as good and thus your whole game suffers,
The fourth game we played a little better and competed very well but their athleticism and height took its toll and they won the game and match. Overall we had 30 hitting errors plus our serving errors and an few unforced errors we probably came they 10 points per game and against a very good team like EM you can’t do that and except to win. So, that something we’ll keep working on but playing good teams like this can only make us better.
